Universal Salvation: Jesus, the Firstborn over all creation Part Two

Just to recap the last paragraph. "Is that the only scripture which speaks of Jesus as a created being?"

Not at all. Revelation 3:14 says: "...These things says the Amen (Jesus), the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God."

And everyone wants to interpret this as anything but what it says. How plain do you want it? What it says is, "...the Beginning of the creation of God." The Greek word there for "Beginning" is Arche, and it means the leader, the start. The Moffatt Translation says there, "...the origin of God's creation." And the Greek word there for "creation" is from ktisis, meaning a founding; the product of what is created. So Jesus was the leader, the start, the first product of the creation of God. And since God created Him and led Him to the fountain of life, He is now perfect.

Now that is good news for all of us, because it shows that His Father, who just happens to be our Father too, really can do what He says at Proverbs 22:6: "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it."

To whom does God give the responsibility for the training of children? The parents. Which firmly puts the onus on Him to train us. And since we have a Father who has already proven that He cannot fail to train His family properly, our outcome will be exactly the same as that of our brother, Jesus. We will all, one day, be perfect. Because we are not responsible for our own training; our Father is.

Watch this closely. 1 Corinthians 15:28 says this: "Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all."

The point here is this: since God is going to be all in all, whatever everyone's past circumstances have been, or whatever everyone's present circumstances are (are you ready for this?), everyone's future is God. One God, one Nature - His. He has already done it with Jesus; and now Jesus is responsible for leading everyone to the fountain of life.

Can you remember what we said in article two: "UNIVERSAL SALVATION! THE GREATEST MESSAGE ON EARTH"? Jesus was commissioned to lose nothing of what His Father had given Him - and His Father had given Him all things. This is part of God's grace to mankind, part of His favour, that Jesus is not allowed to lose anyone. What a favour. Do you really think that God's favour, in the form of Jesus - who has been part of God's plan from the beginning, even before Adam was created - will suddenly come to a stop when He gets to the lake of fire? Can the lake of fire really bring Jesus to His knees? The only ones who will be brought to their knees are the ones in the lake of fire, because "…at the name of Jesus every knee should bow…" Philippians 2:10. It is not possible to stop Jesus. There is absolutely nothing, and no one, that can stop Jesus; not even God Himself, because He has to be just. What He has done for one, He must do for all. He has taken Jesus to perfection, and He must take everyone else to perfection. And the onus is upon Him to do so. Satan can not be allowed one victory. God's favour can reach straight into the lake of fire, and bring everyone out - including Satan and the demons. And we will show you exactly how He is going to do that at a later date.

As Isaiah 14:27 says: "For the LORD of hosts has purposed, And who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, (in the form of Jesus) And who will turn it back?"

What God is saying is, "Who can stop what I have purposed?" No one. Therefore since Jesus has the commission to lose no one, nothing, and no one, can stop Jesus from doing so.

Isaiah 14:24 says: "...And as I (God) have purposed, so it shall stand…"

In the Greek Septuagint Translation, the word for "purposed," in both verse 27 and verse 24, comes from the Greek verb boulomai. So whatever God is purposing (from boulomai), can not be stopped. What is God purposing? 2 Peter 3:9: "The Lord is…not willing (or purposing, from the Greek verb boulomai) that any should perish."

God's purpose is clear. He is not willing that any should perish. If God is not willing or purposing that any should perish, then none will. As God said in Isaiah, "…And as I have purposed, so it shall stand."

That is why He gave His only begotten Son so that all should be saved. Everyone reads John 3:16, but no one reads verse 17: "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."

It makes it sound as if it is left to chance - "that the world through Him might be saved." But there is no chance involved here. Look how The New American Standard Version translates that verse: "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him."

Yes, because His commission was to lose nothing. The New International Version translates that verse this way: "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him." Whom did He send into the world? His Son. How could He do that, if He were not already His Son?

Universal Salvation jumps out at you from all over the Bible. Look at this. Luke 9:56 says: "For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives, (can you see that? He did not come to destroy your lives) but to save them."

You see, Jesus is not going to take your life away from you. He is just going to take sin away from you. As John the Baptist said, "Behold! The lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." All wickedness can be removed from the world by simply taking away sin. It is that easy. Education, involving full understanding.

Jesus, who is now perfect, is still in charge as the Word of God, and is responsible for the discharging of that word. He is responsible for our training, and is working closely with the Holy Spirit. In fact, they are a team. At Luke 6:40 it says this: "A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher."

Jesus was taught by God Himself, and now that He is perfectly trained, He is like God. We are being trained by Jesus, therefore we will be perfectly trained. Jesus was created, and is now perfect. And we are going to be like Him.

Get ready for life as you have never known it. Get ready to meet with all your loved ones who are no longer here; they are all coming back. Get ready for good health. Get ready to live forever, with abundance. Get ready for God to be all in all. Everyone's future is God. Thanks to our coming Lord and Saviour and King of Kings, Jesus Christ, God's Anointed One - HIS SON.
